Memorials may be made to Nurses and Company Hospice, USO or Backstoppers. Burleigh D. Cross, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Monday, November 16, 2009 at the age of 77. Dearest husband of Norma J. Cross (nee: Foust); dear son of the late James (Jesse) Harvel and Befana Cross; devoted father of Mike (Dena) Cross, Sandi Mueller and Greg (Sandy) Cross; beloved grandfather of Michael Jr., Jamey, Dan, Chris, Justin, Tim, and Samantha; great-grandfather of Casey and Caden; dear brother of William "Lindy" (Adele) Cross, Don (the late Helen) Cross, John (Lu) Cross; dear brother-in-law of Joyce Cross; he was our dear brother-in-law uncle and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jim Cross. Burleigh was employed as a Salesman with Pharmavite Pharmaceuticals for 25 years before his retirement. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Korean War.
