Burton K. Wheeler, Sr.

Burton K. Wheeler, Sr., of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, at the age of 79.  Loving husband of 57 years to Marsha Dean Wheeler; beloved son of the late Curtis Decatur and Ruby Sue Wheeler; devoted father of Burton K. (Michelle) Wheeler, Jr. and David Dean Wheeler; cherished grandfather of Shelby Wheeler, Ashley Wheeler, Katie Wheeler, and Phoebe Wheeler.  Burton was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dwight Wheeler, Lonnie "Fred" Wheeler, Earl (Virginia) Wheeler, and Joe (Tommie) Wheeler.

Burton proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired after more than 50 years as a tool technician with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing.  He always looked forward to his fishing trips to Bennett Springs and Montauk State Park.  He enjoyed watching wrestling, fishing shows, and Gunsmoke.  Burton was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
