C. Louise Schallert
December 9, 1937 — February 18, 2020
Catherine Louise Schallert, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, passed away at the age of 82 on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. She is survived by her daughters, Angela (Joe) Guetschow, Valerie (Daniel) Bird, Julie Schallert, and Stephanie (Chris) Bell-Martin; her seven grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Joanie Jones, Joe (Diane) Taylor, and Barbara Wilkinson.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Schallert; her parents, Leon and Josephine Taylor; and her siblings, Esther Knapp and Walter “Buster” Taylor.
Faith was always important to Louise and she was a devout member of Holy Spirit Church. She served as a Eucharistic minister at the church and she and her husband Robert would volunteer their time to help with the church dinners there. In her free time, Louise liked to go out and have a good time square dancing. She had a passion for travel and always looked forward to her adventures on a cruise ship. Louise always made time for her daughters, serving as troop leader for them while they were in the Girl Scouts. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Lupus Foundation of America.
