Capt. Robert Otti

Capt. Robert Otti, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Eileen Otti (nee: Kuhn and Backer); beloved son of the late Benjamin Frank and Edna G. Otti; devoted father of Bonnie Jean Jackson, David Dwight Otti, Robert Mark (Nancy) Otti, grandfather of Stacy, Amy, Michelle, and Amanda; step-father of Michael (Lori) Backer, Chuck (Cathy) Backer, Larry (Sally) Backer, Patty (David) Schaefer, Carol Backer and the late Dan Backer; a special grandpa and 'Capt. Bob' to 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; dear brother of Bonnie Duffy and Sandra George. He is preceded in death by his first wife Juanita Ann (nee: Williams) Otti. He was a member of the American Legion; he was also a member of the MOAA and Corner Stone Methodist Church. Bob loved gardening and was an author of several books and enjoyed writing greeting cards in his spare time.
