Carl Laverne Pingleton, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Ella Mae Pingleton; cherished son of the late Leland and Nora Pingleton; devoted father of Michael Pingleton and Rick (Vickie) Pingleton; cherished grandfather of Amy (Dave) Katz, Julie (Andrew) Hume, Jim (Lauren) Pingleton, Brian (Ryan) Umbright; dear great-grandfather of Zach, Madison, Kaitlyn, David, Mary Grace, John, Alex, and Noah. Carl was also a brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Carl dedicated over 35 years as a truck driver for McDonnell Douglas. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge where he was a Master and Order of the Eastern Star. Carl was a true handyman, capable of fixing just about anything. He had a love for the outdoors, whether it was relaxing at Lake Norfork, or taking frequent trips to Southern Texas. Carl was an avid camper and enjoyed the simple pleasures of being surrounded by nature. He also enjoyed boating, hunting, and fishing. Carl’s passion for adventure, family, and the open road will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Carl's name to The Masonic Lodge.
