Loving husband of Marsha Kramer for 60 years; beloved son of the late Edward and Caroline Kramer; devoted father of Michelle "Shelli" Hansen and Renee (Mark) McCann; cherished grandfather of Ciera (Michael) Walker, Chad (Emma) Hansen, Kyle McCann, and Kaitlyn McCann; treasured great-grandfather of Brynlee, Brayden, and Addilynn; dear brother of Robert (Barbara) Kramer; close brother-in-law of Roger (Lois) Taylor. Carl was retired after a long career working for Procter and Gamble, Brown Shoe Company, McDonnell Douglas, American Investment Company, and First Data. He obtained his private pilot’s license in retirement. Carl proudly served in the Army National Guard of the United States and the Army National Guard of Missouri. He loved to work with his hands and was a mechanic, part of the pit crew, and built stock car motors for stock car racing teams. Carl was an amazing handyman around the house and could build most anything. He also liked to go on dates with his wife and vacation with his family and friends, playing cards with the “boys”, bowling, NASCAR, playing golf, fishing, hunting, and was very interested in space exploration. He was a selfless man that loved taking care of his family and friends. Carl was always the voice of reason and guidance, could be depended upon no matter what time of the day or night, and provided unlimited support, continuous encouragement and unconditional love to everyone. Carl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
