Carla Patrice Pike of Chesterfield, went to be with her heavenly father on Aug. 23 2018. She was born January 3, 1955, in St. Louis, MO., to Marion and Ruby Turner.
She grew up in St. Louis and then later went on to obtain her LPN license where she spent 20+ years serving others. Before retiring in 1999 from St Mary's Hospital in Rogers AR, due to her health, she had cared for and provided compassion to countless individuals in various Nursing Homes and Hospitals during her career. She was passionate about providing quality care for others in a time where love and dignity are most needed. Her favorite past times were playing cards with friends, visiting with her children and grandchildren and outings with her daughters and sister. Those closest to her knew she had a fierce love for puff popcorn and Sam Elliot.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Tom Seppi of House Springs, MO; daughter Danielle Husted of Indiana; daughter Diana Dove of Louisiana, MO.; her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Brett Tyrey of Warrenton, MO; grandchildren, Kristofer Perry, Dakota Perry, James Sharp, Carlee Hayes, Samuel Goggin, Wyatt Dove and Sofia Dove; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Marion Turner; mother, Ruby Crnkovich; and brother, Stan Turner.
Carla asked no Celebration of Life for or funeral be held, she only wished for peace and healing for her children, grand and great-grandchildren, sister and other family.
