Carlton “Corky” Melvin Ehlmann, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Annette S. Ehlmann; cherished son of the late Martin L. Ehlmann and Clara C. Ehlmann; devoted father of Cynthia Ehlmann (Gordon) Laboube, Deborah (Richard) Kertz Southard, and Sharon Ehlmann; loving grandfather of Casey (Lindsay) Matthews, Amanda (Myles) Burkemper, Amber (Boomer) Price, Holly (Jamie) Stark, and Clayton Johnson; treasured great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Brother, Arlie (LaVerne) Ehlmann, the late Harvey Ehlmann, the late Kurt Ehlmann, the late Marlan Ehlmann, the late Francis Ehlmann, the late Lucille Meyer and the late Jeanette Shoults; brother-in-law of Dorothy (Arthur) Hesskamp; beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Corky was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Zion Lutheran Church Adult Choir. He owned Ehlmann Photography for over 40 years, before retiring. He served as President of Professional Photographers of Greater St. Louis and a former board member of Professional Photographers of Missouri. Corky was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Corky was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
