Carmen J. Gallo

June 24, 1938 — September 12, 2018

Carmen J. Gallo

Beloved husband of Marion D. Gallo; selfless provider and beyond amazing father to Jerry Gallo, Darlene Finn, Glenn Gallo, Keith Gallo, James Gallo, and Donna Gallo; dear brother of Ronald Gallo.

Carmen, in every aspect of life, did his very best.  He pushed through all the curveballs and obstacles that life gave him and handled it all like a champion.  He made the world a better place for 80 years!

People who knew Carmen constantly commented on his business savvy, kindness and character.  He was very successful in all aspects of his life.  He loved life no matter what was happening.

As a family man, he was everything to his children and were their supporters from day one.  He gave his wife, Marion, a life she honored.  For that, she was grateful and so were his children.

Carmen was a true warrior and his family considered it to be an honor to have him as a Best Husband, Best Father, and Best Friend; he was a true Hero.

To his daughter, Donna, he was her everything and always will be.  He taught her compassion and resilience.  She couldn’t have asked anything more from him.  Jerry and Donna wouldn’t have it any other way other than to be at his side.  As Jerry would say, “three peas in a pod and a pup.”

Even with his last few moments, he gave it his all.  He was loved very much.  Everyone would agree Carmen J. Gallo was one of a kind and unforgettable.  He had a smile that could light up a room, eyes that twinkled, and a personality that radiated.

The Gallo Family says, “We love you, Dad!  You were the absolute best!  Thank you for giving us wonderful lives.  Continue to guide us from above.”

The Gallo Family would like to sincerely thank the Veterans Administration for providing excellent care and support for Carmen. Memorial contributions may be made in Carmen's honor to the Veterans Administration.
