Carol Ann Hellebusch
August 17, 1950 — April 26, 2020
Carol Ann Hellebusch, of O Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 69 on Sunday, April 26, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Protese “Pro” and Bernice Niemeyer.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Ken Hellebusch; her son, Jason (Stacy) Hollander; and her stepchildren, John (Andrea) Hellebusch, Mike Hellebusch, James (Sharon) Hellebusch, and Laura Hellebusch.
Carol was a devout Catholic and dedicated educator who taught in the Catholic school system in the Archdioceses of St. Louis and Jefferson City. She enjoyed keeping in contact with her former students and receiving updates from those whom she was proud to guide and inspire. After retirement, Carol continued to guide others by using her many years of experience, and her strong faith, to teach PSR at St. Francis Borgia where she herself was a parishioner.
The St. Louis Cardinals had Carol’s constant support and she never failed to follow their season passionately. Carol had many hobbies she liked keeping up with – in particular, she enjoyed being out in her garden or working on a knitting project. She also treasured the alpacas she raised and the bonds she made while spending time together. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
