Carol Fay Kontz

Carol Fay Kontz of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Nyles Kontz; cherished daughter of the late Harold and Eva Hawkins; devoted mother of Marilyn (Keith) Oswald, Marsha Enloe and step-mother of Kim Kontz (Kelly) Lyons; loving grandmother of Tiffany Melton, Austin Muschamp, Caleb Enloe, Joshua Enloe, Shae Enloe, Brandon Oswald, and Justin Oswald; and dear sister of the late Dean Hawkins and the late Fern Hawkins.

Carol persevered through her studies to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was a member of the Nursing Association at DePaul Medical Center since 1957. While dedicating her career to become an Assistant Director in the nursing field, Carol also devoted much of her time to her family. Sunday dinners were a boisterous affair and she loved to cook up delicious meals to share stories over. She also enjoyed traveling to seek rest and relaxation. Carol was deeply loved by those she knew and will be greatly missed by all.

Memorials may be made in Carol’s name to the American Heart Association - St. Charles Chapter in honor of Carol’s drive to help others in need.
