Carol E. Filla

Carol Ellen Filla (nee Powers), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Donald Filla; cherished daughter of the late Bertha and Ellis Powers. Devoted mother of Christopher Filla, Kathleen (Bryan) Stege, and Larry (Peggy) Filla; loving grandmother of David, Joey, Johnny, Brett, Lauren, Lindsay, Josey, Kim, and Tom; treasured great-grandmother of Julian, Riley, Colin, Lucas, Caleb, Tony, Bret, Jake, and Bianca; host to many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  

Carol was married to the love of her life, Donald Filla in California. She was an office manager for many years and worked at St. Charles County Courthouse. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. Carol loved to crochet, read, and travel. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Carol's name to St. Jude Research Hospital.
