Carol Ford

Carol Nancy Ford (nee Auchly), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the age of 66. Beloved wife of the late Edward “Terry” Ford; cherished daughter of the late Harold and Gladys Auchly. Devoted mother of Robin (Timothy) Corcoran, Patrick Ford, Theresa Lynn (Todd) Thirion, Ann Colleen (Mark) Ries and Kelly Nicole (Brendon Biebel) Ford; loving grandmother of T.K., Tom, Erin, Sean, Brianna, Austin, Drew, Alex, Whitney, and Hudson; dear sister of Gail Auchly Barker, Jeanne Ann (Elmer) Smith, and Barbara (Tom) McDonough; nieces and nephews, Julie, Brian, Matt, Molly, Jamie.

Carol was a dedicated employee of Mallinckrodt for more than 30 years. She was an avid Cardinal’s fan, loved golfing, and enjoyed traveling. She and her husband of 39 years, Terry, shared the love of travel. They traveled extensively, not only in the United States, but also to many countries around the world. Carol had a kind nature and a friendly smile. She had an inviting warmth about her that drew her friends and family close to her. Carol was also funny, sarcastic, and silly; she enjoyed life. She loved her family dearly, and was especially fond of her grandchildren, Carol was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Carol's name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
