Carol Havecker

Carol Ruth Havecker, (nee: Radke) of Florissant, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the age of 75. Wife of John Frederick Havecker; daughter of the late Harry W. and Ruth E. Radke; mother of Ericka (Ed Wilhelm) Havecker, John R. (Pam) Havecker, Krista (Garry) Seeburger, and Timothy Havecker; grandmother of Isaac and Owen Wilhelm, Cailyn and Collin Havecker and Riley and Julie Seeburger; and sister of the late David Radke. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Carol was born in Oconomowoc, WI but spent most of her early life in Rockford, IL. Carol was raised in the Lutheran faith and she raised her own family with those same beliefs. She had a great love of music, especially piano and taught her own children how to play. In her younger years, Carol studied to be a nurse and organized Read-a-Thons in Illinois and Missouri.  Carol then received her Bachelor of Arts from St. Louis University. She also had a great love for animals, caring for and rescuing many throughout the years.
