Carol J. Oelklaus

Carol J. Oelklaus (nee: Bredenbeck) of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Oelklaus; cherished daughter of the late Elmer F. and Myrtle M. Bredenbeck; devoted mother of  Rhonda L. (the late David) Woodruff, Timothy A. (JoAnn Fischer) Oelklaus, Paul T. (Janet) Oelklaus; dear sister of Betty J. Locke-Kennard; loving grandmother of Jesse (Reneé) Vierling, Angela Oelklaus, Courtney Oelklaus, and Samantha Oelklaus; treasured great-grandmother of Cohen, Grayson, Logan, Conner, and Matthew.

Carol is also preceded in death by sisters Eilleen V. Benitez and Esther M. Petering.

Carol was a member St. John's United Church of Christ. She also volunteered at St. Charles County Historical Society and the Salvation Army, especially during floods. Carol enjoyed gardening and creating stained glass. Most of all, she was a wonderful mother. Carol was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
