Carol Kaufmann

Kaufmann, Carol, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the age of 71. Dearest wife of the late Elmer J. Kaufmann; dear daughter of the late August and Catherine Heck; loving mother and mother-in-law of Carol (Robert) McVey, Sandy (John) Goudy, John (Julie) Kaufmann, Don (Geralyn) Kaufmann, and Rick (Tricia) Kaufmann; beloved grandmother of Stephanie, Diane, Sarah, Jeff, Tommy, Danny, Eleanor, Alex, Olivia, Cody, Miranda, Kate and Laura; dear sister of Donald Heck, August Heck, Jr. and Rick Heck. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Kaufmann. Carol was beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was employed at the Suburban Journal Newspapers for 30 years. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth Academy in South St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
