Carol M. Hunt

Carol M. Hunt of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late William Hunt; cherished daughter of the late Joseph William Palecek and Lillian Palecek; devoted mother of Abigayle Grace Hunt and Douglas (Sherry) Hunt; loving grandmother of Rachel (Adam) England, Joshua Mahn, Riley Mahn, Devon Mahn, Drew (Cameron) Hunt, and Kelsey Hunt; treasured great-grandmother of Abel England and Ainsley England; and dear sister of Artie (Theresa) Palecek, and Dottie (Art) Johnston.

Carol’s greatest joy in life was her family and loved cheering on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren during their sporting events, recitals, and graduations. She also loved to collect giraffes and over the years, acquired an unparalleled collection. In her free time, she loved sewing, baking her famous Christmas Cookies, enjoying Imo’s Pizza, and for many years she enjoyed square dancing with her beloved husband. Carol will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
