Carol Maxine Porges (nee Edwards) of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the age of 89.
Devoted wife of the late George J. Porges, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Cliff and Ora Lee Edwards; devoted mother of John (Elizabeth) Porges, Kim (James) Parker, Tony (Debbie) Porges, Jackie Porges, Ricky Porges, and Sherri (William) Pitts; loving grandmother of Becky (Tim) Schwab, Stefanie (Ryan) Fitzpatrick, Christy (Michael) Fishel, Monica Evans, Colleen (Christian) Cino, Vickey (Brandon) Hardig, Drew Porges, Concetta Porges, Casey (Joe) Haller, Alexandria Jones, Dean Jones, and Travis Pitts; treasured great-grandmother of Ashley, Daniel, Nathan, Chelsea, Isabella, Elizabeth, Paige, Spencer, Cooper, Charleigh, Liam, and Hannah. Carol is also preceded in death by her siblings, Howard, Marie, Charlie, Barbara, Tommy, Cliff, and Donald.
Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling and was the Secretary of her bowling league. Carol loved playing games, puzzles and going to bingo. She was undeniably an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Carol was dearly loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
