Carol Saputo

Saputo, Carol (nee: Proost) of Florissant, MO, died on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of John Saputo; cherished daughter of the late Elmer and Susan Proost; devoted mother of Susan (Robert) Barrett and Scott (Julie) Saputo; loving grandmother of Sean Barrett, Kyra Barrett, Maria Saputo, Salvatore Saputo, and Dominic Saputo; dear aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Steven Saputo and her sister, Janet Proost Renz.

Carol graduated from Beaumont High School in 1957. She retired from Southwestern Bell. Carol served on the PTO Board and church and school committees. She had a heart of service and gratitude. She was very supportive of her family and whatever they did. Carol enjoyed going to the movies and dances. She was also a wonderful crafter. She especially enjoyed crocheting. Carol’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
