Carol Jean Stamm

Carol Jean Stamm, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at the age of 86 in O’Fallon, Missouri. Carol was born on June 22, 1938, in Fort Riley, Kansas to parents John and Ruby McWilliams. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Known for her friendliness, her kind and caring spirit, and her dedication to family, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carol loved to dance. She won numerous awards at dance competitions. She was an avid reader and loved to share her knowledge with those around her. She is survived by her son Perry Stamm, daughter-in-law Stephanie Stamm, stepdaughter Leslie Gurtler (husband Lynn Gurtler), granddaughter April Bensing (husband Pete Bensing), grandson Robert Stamm and great grandchildren Logan, Lucas, and Landon Bensing.

A celebration of Carol’s life is planned in the Spring of 2025. The family would like to thank the staff at The Landing of O’Fallon and St. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care of Carol.

Carol will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
