Carol Sue Vollmer

Vollmer, Carol Sue of Hawkpoint, MO, died on Thursday March 26, 2015, at the age of 66. Loving wife of the late Lonnie James "Butch" Vollmer; beloved daughter of the late Vernon Leon and Mildred Violet Melton; devoted mother of Angela (Paul) Schaffrin; cherished grandmother of Brittany Schaffrin, Ashley Schaffrin, Paul Ryan (Brittney) Schaffrin, Simon Schaffrin, Samuel Schaffrin, Molly Schaffrin, Carly Schaffrin and Philip Schaffrin; treasured great-grandmother of Autumn Schaffrin, Johnny Bunton, Isabella Bunton, Amelia Schaffrin and Paul Isaac Schaffrin; and dear sister of Nancy (Charlie) Colbert, Linda (Rick) Whitlock, Donna (Mike) Brown and Vernon "Bub" Melton, Jr. She is preceded in death by her sister Joyce Brawley.
Carol enjoyed bowling, bunco and playing cards. She loved watching her grandkids play music, but most of all loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
