Carole Ellen Roberts (nee Ferguson), 76 of O’Fallon MO passed away 1:50pm on January 15, 2018 in her home. Carole was born November 20, 1941 in St. Louis, MO a daughter of the late James Ferguson and the late Christine Counts Ferguson Gassner Siemens.
Carole was a loving mother to Donna & Grant Schraer and Paul & Barb (Green) Roberts III all of St Charles, the late Steven & Amy Roberts, and Patrick & Regina Roberts all of O’Fallon, MO. Proud Grandmother of Brent & Autumn Schraer, Brooke & AJ Meadows, Hannah, Charles, Elle, Rosemary, and Rachel Roberts. Great Grandmother to Dexter and Calvin Meadows and Hailey Green. Sister to Helen Hohmann of Flower Mound, TX. Fun-Loving Aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Carole worked in manufacturing for several large companies over the years including Carter Carburetor, Westinghouse, Lever Brothers, and Johnston Control. She was a hard worker and loved to keep busy with wood working and other such hobbies. She could build or repair just about anything. She was a recreational softball player for 30+ years and was as an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Carole was a member of Peace Lutheran Church Winghaven.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Steve; Two sisters, Betty Zumpol and JoAnn Hasselbar and three brothers James, Donald, and Tom Ferguson. A brother-in-law Donald Hohmann. A sister-in-law, Sherri Ferguson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Carole to the American Heart Association or Five Acres Animal Shelter.
