Carolyn Joyce Kemper

Carolyn Joyce Kemper (nee Johnson), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Jack L. Kemper; cherished daughter of the late Walter W. and Lucy C. Johnson; devoted mother of Julie Chinn, Laura Christian, and Mindy (Christian) Beauregard; loving grandmother of Laura Elizabeth Chinn, Katie Efferson, Danae Christian, and Ben (Kendra) Christian; treasured great grandmother of Lance, Riley, Blake, Charlee Kate, Carter, Cal, and Brooks; dear sister of the late Luella (Clyde) Rogers; aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin, Godmother, and friend to many.

Carolyn was a High School Graduate of Ritenour; she also graduated from Central Methodist University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and was a member of Pi Kappa Theta Sorority. Carolyn taught at Ritenour for 27 dedicated years. After retiring, she worked for 6 years at Woodson Terrace City Hall. She volunteered for St. Charles County Council of the Blind, American Heart Association, and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Carolyn loved playing cards, was an avid reader, loved ice-cream, needle point, cross-stitch, sports, and traveling. Carolyn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Carolyn's name to the American Diabetes Association or St. Charles County Council of the Blind.
