Carolyn Machino

Carolyn Machino (nee Rakel), of , St. Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late William W. Machino Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Bernard L. and Armella Rakel; devoted mother of William W. Machino, Jr., George (KayCee) Machino, Robert Machino, Casper Machino, the late Anna Marie and late infant son Michael Machino; dear sister of the late Donald (Sandy) Rakel, Bernadette Loehr, Barbara (the late Robert) Coibion, and the late Patricia (Vern) Wildie; sister-in-law of Carolyn S. Machino; loving grandmother and great-grandmother; Carolyn is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was very active; always had to be doing something or going somewhere. She loved playing cards and hated to lose. She was very active with the Salvation Army for many years and made many friends. Carolyn worked for the State of Missouri in the Family Services Division for 35 years.

Carolyn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Carolyn's name to the American Heart Association.
