Carolyn R. Schulte

Carolyn Ruth Schulte (nee Fites), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Jerome Schulte, Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Cyril and Ruth E. Fites. Devoted mother of Jim Schulte and John Schulte; loving grandmother of Amber, Ashley, Alyssa, Nicholas, Andrew, and Ryan; stepsister of Phyllis Struemph; cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by two sons, Jeff (Terry) Schulte and Jerome "Jay" Schulte, Jr. 

Carolyn was a dedicated grade school teacher in multiple school districts around St. Louis for over 35 years. She found fulfillment in dedicating her time to volunteer work at the Red Cross and her church, actively participating in Bible studies. Additionally, she took pleasure in being part of a book club and cherished moments with her grandchildren, whether it was accompanying them to the park or supporting them during their sporting events. Carolyn's warmth and affection endeared her to those around her, and her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
