Casey A. Hohman

December 27, 1979 — February 15, 2002

Memorials may be made to: St. Louis Heart Transplant Association or Make-A-Wish Foundation of St. Louis c/o Baue Funeral Home 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO 63303 To my family, friends, co-workers, and business associates, some of whom have never had the good fortune to meet Casey. These few pictures and thoughts represent how I will always remember her. Casey was a very strong and fun-loving young girl, who during times of severe health problems, still found time for volunteer work and a great social life. Casey was an outstanding student and friend to so many. Casey never complained about her illness but took each day as a gift. All that knew her were aware that she was a very special person. Casey probably would hate at least two of these photos, especially the one in the dorm room. Those who know Casey even a little would know she was visiting some one else's room. Casey loved University life so much I had to include it. While Casey was a good basketball player, she was a terrible soccer player and I'm not sure if she even knew how much I enjoyed watching her just being cute and having fun at a game I loved so much. The picture at the beach was probably the best family vacation we ever had. While the medicines made it hard for Casey to be in the sun, like her sisters and mom, she loved the beach. Casey is survived by her two sisters, Jamie and Kori, who loved her so much, by a wonderful boyfriend, Shane, her three loving grandparents, Ruth and Frank Hohman and Freda Margiotta, aunts, uncles, cousins and so many other friends and by her so very proud parents, Vince and Sharon Hohman. Casey was a blessing to us all; the bravest person I have ever known; she has showed us all how to be strong and gracious under the worst of circumstances. We'll miss her so much. Thanks to all for your support and prayers. Vince Hohman and family.
