On Thursday, January 10, 2019, Catherine “Cathy” Lynn Berryman, loving mother and grandmother passed away at age 63.
Cathy was born on March 10, 1955 in New Albany, IN to Iver and Della Saylor. She attended Silver Street Elementary, Hazelwood Junior High and graduated from New Albany High School. Cathy spent most of her life in New Albany, IN until she moved to St. Charles, MO to be with her daughters and grandchildren.
Cathy enjoyed making things out of yarn. She also loved drawing and was an avid reader. Cathy's passions were her daughters and grandchildren. She was known for her kindness and unconditional love.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Iver and Della Saylor, and her daughter, Patricia Ann. She is survived by her daughters, Christina Lynn (Josh) Blassingame and Nakeya Kristen Idaan; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Alexander Loman, Bryttoni Rena Blassingame, Joshua Allen Blassingame II, Jacob Alexander Blassingame, Jrue Aaron Blassingame, Emylie Rose Blassingame and Justin Anthony Blassingame; as well as two brothers, Ray Saylor and Michael Saylor and two sisters, Mary Jo (Gary) Fentress, and Connie Verberkmoes.
Memorials may be made in Cathy’s name to St. Vincent Depaul or St. Charles Borromeo School.
