Catherine Marie Compton

Catherine Marie Compton (nee McDonell), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the age of 67. Cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Effie Lorraine McDonell; devoted mother of Shannon (Jon) Beahan, Justin (Kayla) Compton, and the late Brianne Compton; loving grandmother of Madelyn Beahan, Brooke Beahan, Grace Beahan, Reiss Beahan, Caden Compton, Lucas Compton, McKenna Compton, and Andy Mack Martin; dear sister of Michael (Darlene) McDonell, Joan (Loren) Storey, Patricia (Ken) Sarne, Jennifer (Denny) Dieckhaus, Lora Sparkman, and Andrew (Karen) McDonell. Cathy was an aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Cathy had a very successful career in banking with Commerce Bank. She held various positions and enjoyed caring for many customers over the years. In her free time, Cathy spent time watching NASCAR with Max. She always put her family first and cherished the many gatherings and memories she made with them, especially her grandchildren. Cathy had a big heart and never hesitated to lend an ear to those who needed comfort. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
