Catherine Eunice Smart

Catherine Eunice Smart (nee Dickinson), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Frank Carl Smart; cherished daughter of the late Elwood J. and Joan K. Dickinson; dear sister of Ron Dickinson, Vinny (Laurie) Dickinson, the late Elwood Dickinson, and the late Steven Dickinson; devoted mother of David Cummings; loving grandmother of Amber Cummings and great grandmother of Easton Cummings; treasured aunt of Jessi Stark and great aunt of David Huffman, Cece, Alex and Tristan Dickinson, and Abbey Schmidt; loving Aunt Cathy to the Holt family and many more. 

Cathy loved taking care of others and enjoyed spending time with her friends, particularly going out to eat or to the movies. She adored all animals, especially dogs, and talked to her friends Rhonda, Bev, Gaye, and Noni daily. Cathy cherished time with her family, whether at a casual BBQ or a formal event like Christmas Eve. She loved watching her soaps on TV and kept things simple, always having a good time and enjoying life. Cathy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Cathy's name to the Humane Society of Missouri.
