Charles A. Bryner was born on October 8, 1918 in Elyria Ohio to Guy H. Bryner and Dorothy Young. His loving parents preceded him in death. Mr. Bryer was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dardenne Missouri and of the Boone Center Family Support Group. IN 1989 the Bryner family was featured as the New York State Special Olympics Family of the Year. Each year since 1999, the Bryner Family Award is given in honor of the family's involvement with the Special Olympics. Mr. Bryner was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Mr. Bryner is survived by his wife, Helen M. Bryner of O'Fallon Missouri, his sons, Dr. Michael A. Bryner (Lorraine) of Midlathian Virginia, James G. Bryner (Donna) of Lake Saint Louis Missouri, and Daniel P. Bryner of O'Fallon Missouri, one sister, Gloria Blakley (Elton) of Springville New York, his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Scott, Sarah and Emily, and one great granddaughter, Eva. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Bryner and William Bryner.
