Charles “Chuck” Trendley

August 25, 1945 — June 22, 2018

Charles “Chuck” Trendley, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of 29 wonderful years to Janice Trendley; cherished son of the late Mary Ann and Charles Christman Trendley, Sr.; devoted father of Karen (Jeff) Trendley and Brian Trendley; treasured stepfather of Emily (Darian) Puga and Tyler Driscoll; loving grandfather of Gage, Quinn, Hazel, Michael, and David; and dear brother of Richard (Jackie) Trendley, John (Jeri) Trendley, Ann (Lee) Anderson, and the late Penny Lanham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Boeing after many years of service as a director of material management. Chuck was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration. He enjoyed golfing and traveling to Mexico every year with his friends and family. He also loved to build things and had an admiration for aviation, especially his work with the “Apache” helicopter. Chuck will be remembered for being a happy and loving person who was very devoted to his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
