Charles Cornelius Zeidlik

Zeidlik, of Highland, Illinois (formerly of Overland and St. Charles, Missouri), died on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the age of 91. Dearest husband of the late Gertrude Bertha (nee: Schuppman) Zeidlik; dear son of the late Charles and Constance Zeidlik; cherished father of Richard C. (Deborah) Zeidlik, Barbara L. (David) Dunkman and Pamela J. Zeidlik Gennari; beloved grandfather of Nicholas, Elizabeth, Sydney and Spencer; dear brother of Hannah Zeidlik and the late Albert Zeidlik, Lottie Hoover and Robert Zeidlik. Charles was a Senior Design Engineer at McDonnell Douglas for 16 years before his retirement. He grew up on a farm in Northern MN; served in US Army 1940-1945 during WWII in the Pacific as a Technical Sgt. crew mechanic on P-47 aircraft fighters. He previously worked for Alvey Conveyor, Emerson Electric, McDonnell Douglas Electronics Company before his retirement from McDonnell Douglas.
