Charles Raymond "Chuck" Davanzo, Jr.

Charles R. “Chuck” Davanzo Jr., age 59, passed away on July 1, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer. Chuck was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cynthia Ann Sitz Davanzo and his father and mother, Charles R. Sr. and Patricia Davanzo. He is survived by his daughter Abigail “Abby” and son Charles III “Trey,” wonderful sisters and brother, Maria Snider, Soncerae Beam, and Patrick. He was a wonderful son-in-law to Jeanne and Jim Sitz, an uncle and cousin as well as having many caring friends. Chuck graduated from Hazelwood Central High School and Ottawa University. He was an active member of the All Saints Catholic Church, St. Peters, MO being involved in several activities including coach of the All Saints School boys and girls’ soccer teams for several years. He was a kind and gentle person and will be missed by many. Chuck’s family is being serviced by Baue Funeral Home, Cave Springs, MO. Visitation will be on July 6 from 4-8pm at Baue Cave Springs with funeral mass on July 7 at 10am at All Saints Church, St. Peters, MO with interment at St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Contributions in Chuck’s name may be made to Evelyn’s House, Creve Coeur, MO, All Saints School Tuition Program, or an organization of your choice.
