Charles Donald Koviak

Charles Donald Koviak, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the age of 90. Loving husband of Pamela Koviak; beloved son of the late Joseph L. and Mary H. Koviak; devoted father of Mary (Dave) Praechter, David (Rosemary) Koviak, Kathleen (Roger) Hemmer, Linda (Paul) Piontek, Susan (Ken) Kroupa, and Charlene (Tony) Collins; stepfather of Jolene (Steve) Miller, Jennie (Jim) Anthony, and David (Deborah) O'Brien; cherished grandfather of 23 and great-grandfather of 15. Charles is also preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Koviak; granddaughter, Brittney Nicole; grandson, Joshua Michael; great-granddaughter, Arianna; and 10 siblings.

Charles proudly served his country in the United State Marines. He was a member of St. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church and AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association). Charles’ greatest passion was flying and being a small aircraft pilot especially Bonanza planes. He loved spending time with his beloved family and dear friends. Charles was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Charles’ name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
