Charles “Charlie” Drummond

Drummond, Charles "Charlie", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the age of 91. Loving husband of the late Peggy Drummond; beloved son of the late William and Helen Drummond; loving father of Christine (Bob) Grochmal, Deborah (Jim) Marshall, Chuck (Naomi) Drummond, Karen Hayo, and Ken Drummond; cherished grandfather of Michael, Becky, Chrystal, Alysha, Cody, Daniel, Casey, Mara, Leann, and Brittany; treasured great- grandfather. He is preceded in death by his brother William "Harvey" Drummond and son-in-law Kent Hayo.
Charlie retired from the University City Police Department after 33 years attaining the rank of detective. Upon retiring from the police force he accepted a position with the St Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's office as a special investigator until his retirement. Charlie loved the St. Louis Cardinals baseball, traveling, photography, but most of all he loved his miniature schnauzers.
