Charles E. “Charlie” During, of Hazelwood, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Joan Diane During; cherished son of the late Louis and Irene Kathleen During; devoted father of Kristi M. (Joshua) Boston and Andrew L. (Megan) During; loving grandfather of Addison, Everett, and Ethan Boston, and Lillian During; dear brother of Patricia "Tresa" (Ken) Medley; treasured uncle of Jamie (Jason) Trostel and Stacey (Brent) Salt; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Charlie, a proud member of UAW Local #2250, was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed football, NASCAR, and listening to classic rock music. Charlie always liked to have a good time and was always known for joking around. Devoted to his family, Charlie adored his grandchildren and was always looking to bring joy to those around him. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
