Charles E. Vaughn

Vaughn, Charles, of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the age of 85. Beloved son of the late George Wendell and Marjorie Vaughn; devoted father of Terry Lee Vaughn; loving companion of 40 years of Melba Hoffmeister; dear father figure of Jackie Tropea, Paul and Tammy Woodrow, and Glen and Pam Woodrow. He was also an honorary grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Loving brother of Katheryn (Thomas A.) Grogan, Ruth L. Lewis, Dolores J. Harris and Mary Ann (Del) Harris; dear uncle of Michael (Debra) Grogan, Mary Kay Wasson nee: Grogan, Keith (Michelle) Lewis, Tammy Renee' Harris Steve Lewis and Tricia Harris; cherished great-uncle of Brandi Brown nee: Lewis, Bailey Lewis, Lucas Hofstra, David Hofstra and Cameron Lewis; treasured great-great-uncle of Emma Brown. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Florene Vaughn, Paul W. Vaughn and James F. Vaughn; brother-in-laws, Ray Harris and Paul Lewis; niece, Vickie Lynn Harris; and nephew, Dennis Lewis.
