Charles "Charlie" F. Ell

Charles F. Ell, of Troy, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the age of 81.Preceded in Death by his father: Henry J. Ell, his mother: Frances W. Ell (nee Huellewig) and his brothers: Raymond H. Ell & Wilfred J. Ell (Marian Ell nee Reddy) 

 Survived by his wife: Rebecca "Becky" Ell (nee Burton), Step Sons Jamie Hampshire (Sandy Tank) & Joshua Hampshire, 7 Grandchildren Amber (Zach Pietropinto), Megan, Hailey, Andrew, Beverley, Damion and Esmarii, Two Great Grandchildren Tanner and Holly. His sister In-law Frances G. Ell (nee Quanty) along with nieces and nephews. 

 Charles had a love for Scuba. He was certified for Advanced Open Water, International Open Water and Specialty Diver for Underwater Photography. He dove in Belize, Haiti and Cozumel and enjoyed his time scuba diving with manatees. He also participated in the Poseidon Divers club for local spearfishing competitions in Missouri's Lakes. His other hobbies were making rustic furniture (until our home ran out of room), building wooden model ships (of which there are many) and boating with friends at Truman Lake. He also owned his own business Precision Silk Screening a sign company for Real Estate and Home Builders from 1986 until 2011. 

 Note from Becky - We spent 38½ years together, 33 of those living and working side by side. His passing will leave such a large gap in my life, but I know he will be walking by my side always.
