Charles Roosevelt Goodsell

Charles R. “Charlie” Goodsell, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Goodsell; cherished son of the late Evan and Ruby Goodsell. Devoted father of Steve (Cindy) Goodsell, Mary (Eric) Kolodziej, adopted son, Evan Goodsell; loving grandfather of 7; treasured great-grandfather of 5. kind brother to Eugene Goodsell, Lavela McClanahan, Cathy McDaniel, and Earl Goodsell. Preceded in death by daughter, Teresa (Mark) Schmierbach.

Charlie was strong in faith and a proud member of the O'Fallon Church of Christ. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed tinkering with different projects and volunteering with the Boy Scouts. Charlie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
