Charles Heitmann

Charles George Heitmann, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Ursula Heitmann; cherished son of the late Charles A. and Charlotte Heitmann; devoted father of Alan (Kelley) Heitmann and Kathleen (Steve) Beerman; loving grandfather of Rachel (Anthony) de la Fuente, Vicki (Chris) Jones, Kim (Virgil) Kersting, and Allison Heitmann (Ryan Parker); treasured great-grandfather of Addison Kersting, Jackson Jones, Abram Jones, Charley de la Fuente, and Wade de la Fuente. Charles was preceded in death by his siblings, Earl Heitmann, Marlin Heitmann and Helen Hallemeier.
Charles proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. After military discharge, Charles dedicated his career to being an automotive mechanic which began at Wilke Motors. He was a member of American Legion Post 312 and enjoyed the community and friends that he and Ursula met there. After retirement, they often travelled on group tours around the country. Charles was also a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church. In his free time, Charles enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Charles was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
