Charles P. Charlie Strele

''Charlie'', St. Charles, MO, August 31, 2006 age 84; dear husband of Geneva Strele; devoted father of Leslie Goudy (Robert), Stacie Wood (Pete) and dear step-father of Sharon Grady (Bill), Judy Wiegand (Chuck) and Ted Unland (Lenna); dear brother of Sis Herzberg and Dixie Thune; beloved grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Wilhelm and Olive Strele. Charlie was a very wonderful, caring person that would always help anybody in need and a friend to many. He was a member of the Meramec River patrol and was an avid outdoorsman. Charlie served in the U.S. Navy 1941 – 1947 and was a Switchman at Southwestern Bell, St. Louis, Missouri for 35 years before his retirement.
