Wilson, Charles "Gene", of O’Fallon, Missouri, died on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the age of 69. Loving husband of Verna Marie Wilson NEE: Schmidt; beloved son of the late Charles and Anne Wilson; devoted father of Sandra (Mark) Hellmer, Thomas Wilson, James Wilson, Jennifer (Matthew) Weber, John "Bubba" Wilson and Jaclyn Wilson; cherished grandfather of Salina, Teresa, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Jessica and Olivia; treasured great-grandfather of Skyler, Savannah and Daycen; dear son-in-law of Vernon and Albina Schmidt. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Wilson and Donald Wilson. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
