Charles “Charlie” Briggs, of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Kathy Briggs; cherished son of the late Jack and Iva Briggs; devoted father of Chuck Briggs and Matt (April) Briggs; stepfather of Robert (Christy) Burgett; loving grandfather of Christian, Josselyn, Andrea, Brittany, Jessica, Kyle and Cameron; dear brother of Caroline Whittington and Dan (Elaine) Briggs. Charles is also preceded in death by his siblings, Wilbur Briggs, Leonard Briggs, Raymond Briggs, Wanda Adams, Mary Rebstock, Nancy Pauck, Robert DeClue, Bill “Jack Jr.” Briggs, and Shirly Ann Briggs.

Charlie worked for the City of O’Fallon, Emerson Electric, Karsten Construction and was the Mayor of Charlack. In his free time, he enjoyed many different types of music.

Charlie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
