Charlotte Darlene McKinney, 83, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Charlotte was born August 9, 1938 to Oliver Glenn Smith and Goldie Teter Smith. Charlotte married Eddie Bee McKinney on November 6, 1959.
While raising their family, Charlotte and Eddie Bee resided in North St. Louis County. During her career, Charlotte did secretarial work for various companies but her favorite was Continental Can Company where she made many lifetime friends. In their later years, Eddie and Charlotte lived in Lake St. Louis, MO. Upon Eddie’s death, Charlotte moved to Breeze Park Care Center, Weldon Springs, MO, where she continued to reside until her death.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and her husband of 46 years Eddie Bee McKinney. She is survived by her daughter Judy Kamm (Dan) of St. Charles, MO, a daughter Jill Gillespie (Alan) of Hazelwood, MO, grandchildren Douglas Kamm (Jenny), Danielle Hummert (Nathan), Lindsay Gillespie, and two great-grandchildren Harper and Charlie Kamm.
