Cheryl Hartwig

Cheryl Kay Hartwig (nee Wesche), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Jack Hartwig; cherished daughter of the late Kurth and Delores Wesche; devoted mother of Jeffrey Hartwig, Jill (Thomas) McCormack and Craig Hartwig; loving grandmother of Katie (Jake) Buhrman, Zachary (Josh) Schirle, Tim McCormack, , Kyle McCormack and Heidi Hartwig; treasured great-grandmother of Nicole Buhrman and Connor Buhrman; dear sister of Carla Dubbelde; Cheryl is also survived by her dear friend, Karol Larson and her dog, Cali. 

Cheryl was a lifelong Lutheran and was very rich in tradition. She loved decorating for the holidays. Cheryl worked for Francis Howell School District for 18 years. She was heavily involved with the mothers of Twins Club for 25 years. Cheryl was the most organized person you could ever imagine, and one of the sweetest people you would ever know. She had many friends and always very social. 

Cheryl volunteered at Renewed Treasures resale site and as an elections poll worker. She loved dogs and had five throughout her life, her favorites were King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. 

Cheryl loved traveling, Jack and her have been to every state as well as ten different countries. 

Cheryl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Cheryl's name to Animal Pet Adoption Brentwood or Special Olympics.
