Cheryl J. Kierstead

Cheryl J. Kierstead of St. Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 75 on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter H. Kierstead; and her parents, Owen and Dorothy Cowin.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Dawn Clayton, Scott Clayton, Greg Jameson; her stepdaughter, Stacie (John) Haggerty; her grandchildren, Deven Staiger, Haley and Steven Westbrook, Kira Baker, and Scott Clayton Jr.; her step-grandchildren, Delanie, Eion, Evin, Ewen, Eoin, and Egan Haggerty; her great-grandson, Bryson Ayers; her siblings, Christie (Jerry) McKay and Bruce (Jan) Cowin; and she was an aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Cheryl was fond of country western dance and had a great time teaching others its finer points. She had a very calm, relaxed, and laid back personality and she was always a delight to be around. Her selfless character was a source of strength for her loved ones who knew that, no matter, what she’d be there for them. Cheryl enjoyed traveling and was always looking forward to her next fun trip. For fun, Cheryl liked to spend her time boating, making memories at the lake house, and spending time with her beloved family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
