Cheryl L. Smith

Cheryl Lynn Smith (nee Leutzinger), of Wright City, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the age of 54. 

Preceded in death by her loving parents, Raymond and Maudie (Gruwell) Leutzinger and infant sister, Janet. Wife of Steven. Dear sister of Richard (Terry), Gary (Laura) Leutzinger and Carolyn (Tammy) LaShell. Loving aunt of Kimberly (Edward) Farrell, DeAnna (Ed) Weldon, Maria and David Leutzinger, Tyler (Bria) Jensen and Mikayla (Austin) Raney. Great-aunt of Hurley Raney, Jordy Raney, Wyatt Jensen, Andrea Davis, Jonathon Davis and Hadessah Weldon.

Cheryl had worked for the Chesterfield Police Department as a communications specialist. She then worked for over 20 years for Boeing as an executive office administrator and staff analyst. She earned her B.S. from Northeast Missouri State University, B.A. from Columbia College and MBA from Capella University.

She served her Lord faithfully as a member of Chapel of the Lake, she had a passion and love for all animals. She was on the Board of Directors and volunteered at Strong Tower Ranch as well as No Time To Spare Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.
