Cheryl Beth Vinyard

Cheryl Beth Vinyard (nee James), of Troy, MO, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the age of 61. Loving wife of the late Darrell Vinyard; beloved daughter of the late Peggy and Richard James; devoted mother of Ray (Mandy) Rader, Ryan (Alison) Rader, Tiffany Rader, Amy Vinyard, Katrina Rader, Kelsea (Matthew) Hargrave, Tory (Dominic) Freed, and Darrell (Trinity Valli) Vinyard, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Jensen, Travis, Scarlett, Rylynn, Ronan, Rayna, Jasper, Connor, Alaina, Audrey, Carter, Chase, Hayes, Holden, Theodora, Alexander, and Kaysen; dear sister of Richard "Ricky" James, Ronald (Keisha ) James, and Deborah (David) Green. Cheryl is also preceded in death by her daughters, Nichole (Danny Hasty, survives) Vinyard, and Casey Vinyard.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, and friend whose generous spirit touched everyone around her. She was married to her beloved husband Darrell for 15 years, and together they enjoyed hosting family events and backyard barbecues. Cheryl had a beautiful heart, a great sense of humor, and a deep well of forgiveness. She was incredibly giving—almost to a fault—and always made others feel welcome.

She loved crime shows, sudoku puzzles, and most of all, her family. Cheryl had a profound faith in God and lived her life with grace, humility, and devotion. She was truly family-oriented and her kindness, warmth, and strength will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Cheryl will be deeply missed.
