Chester H. Swain

Chester Harold Swain, of St. Louis, Missouri (formerly O'Fallon, MO), died on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the age of 89. Dearest husband of the late Verla Spoonemore Swain (first wife) and the late Josephine Davidson Swain (second wife); dear son of the late Chester Harry and Della Swain; devoted father of Dwight (Toni) Swain, Larry Swain and Sonjia Stinger; dear step-father of Patricia (John) Williams; beloved grandfather of 14, great-grandfather of 10 and great-great-grandfather of 2. He is preceded in death by his sister, Therba Swain and son-in-law, William Stinger. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was a member of Hammond Tones Organ Club. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII.
