Chester “Mac” L. McKinney
August 6, 1927 — January 20, 2022
Chester “Mac” L. McKinney was born August 6, 1927, to Ollie and Ida McKinney and went to join his loved ones in Heaven on January 20, 2022. He was surrounded by his family at home.
He was a Loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Mac served in Italy during WWII and then again as Sargent First Class in Korea on the front lines from 1951-1953. He was a member of VFW post #2866 and American Legion #312. He was a skilled craftsman and member of the Carpenters Union for 55 years. He was an avid golfer and loved all of the Saint Louis sports teams especially St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
He is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Tim), Cathy (Tim), and Vicki (Kevin), stepdaughter Lisa (Bruce), stepson Everett (Laura), six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one brother, Richard.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, wife Bernice, second wife Helen, a brother and a sister and one great grandson.
Memorials may be made in Chester's name to the American Cancer Society.
